TCM
Technology Centre Mongstad (TCM), located in Norway, is the world’s largest facility for testing and improving CO₂ capture. TCM is a joint venture between Gassnova (on behalf of the Norwegian state), Statoil, Shell, and Total. TCM facilities provide access to two intrinsically different, real-life flue gases for testing: post-combustion flue gas from a gas turbine power plant and flue gas from a refinery catalytic cracker (which resembles flue gas from a coal-fired power plant).
